 Manelwatta temple is a unique buddhist temple in Sri Lanka which is situated in Kelaniya.It is a modern temple constructed in a 16ha land in a calm and relaxing environment in close to the city of colombo.And also it is different from other regular temples in Sri lanka.This temple is more like a Chinese or Japanese temple.The reason is that its main sponsors are from China, Japan, Korea and India.So it consists mainly of Mahayana architectural features. There is a large buddha statue at the entrance of the temple and also it is built on a very high stage on the top of the building. Nagananda International Buddhist University is built as a part of Manelwatta temple. If considered about the history of this temple, it was gifted to buddha sasana by a former president of Sri Lanka Mr.J.R.Jayawardhana.  

 The most amazing tree I have ever seen Several years ago I went on a trip to the island of Mannar, with my family members.We spent a few days there and we visited various places. During that time there is a special thing that my mind collided.That is a most amazing tree I have ever seen. It can be identified as "Baobab Tree"which is an ancient tree that is located in Pallimuai,Mannar.      The trunk of the tree is 700 years old.It measures more than 60 feet around, so we can be identified it as the oldest and largest baobab in Sri Lanka. The Mannar island has a long history.According to oral history of there, several centuries ago an arab trader brought with him a herd of camels and baobab fruit on the shores of Mannar.A seed of this fruit fell on the ground and then it took roots and a tree sprouted.This tree is native to Africa. Because of their gray rough bark, locals call it as "ali gasa" or "elephant trees.

Children of Heaven is my favourite film and I have seen it so many times.The film is an Iranian family drama film written and directed by Majid Majidi in 1997. In 1997, the film "Children of Heaven" was nominated for the 21st Montreal international film festival America award. And also this film was the first film which gain Oscar of Best foreign language film award. This film based on the feelings of children for their family and their needs. When young Ali accidently loses the only pair of shoes that owns his little sister Zahra, they attempt to hide the bad news from their poverty stricken father and ill mother. Top cast in this film- Amir Farrokh Hashemian - Ali Bahare Seddiqi -  Zahra Mohammad Amir Naji -  Ali's Father Fereshte Sarabandi - Ali's Mother      Children of Heaven is very nearly perfect film for the children.This film highlights emotional moments with childhood loving sibling bond and come up in the life with life struggles.

This is one of the beautiful places which highlights the uniqueness of nature. Water World is South Asia's first underwater tunnel aquarium and is the only public aquarium in Sri Lanka. It located in Kelaniya, on the banks of the Kelani River. There is a combination of two sections,  The aquarium and a bird park. Water World claims that they have the largest collection of fish in South Asia and which is home to a diverse collection of over 500 varieties of fish and invertebrates. There is a big range of aquatic life includes fresh water, marine and brackish water, fauna and flora. In the aquarium there are both local and foreign fish varieties. At the Water World, you can see most rare and fascinating species such as Arapaima(The largest fresh water fish in the world.
