"THE GIFT OF THE MAGI"

Hello everyone...In this blog post I'm going to tell you about a beautiful short story that point out a great meaning. The short story is "The gift of the magi". It was written by O.Henry, that has an interesting theme.This story is about Jim and Della, a married young couple. They try to make each other happy by giving the right gift on Christmas day. Unfortunately they are very poor. But, there were two possessions that shows their great pride.The only things that they had inherited are, Della's beautiful long hair and Jim's gold watch that had been belonged to his father and his grandfather.
      Tomorrow would be Christmas day. They don't have enough money to buy a gift for each other.

Della got an idea of selling her hair to find some money for buying Jim's perfect gift. Then she a watch chain for him. She is sad for her hair, but happy that she could get him a gift.

                                         

      It's Christmas Eve. The time comes for exchanging gift. Jim gives a Della a small box.Inside the box, were too expensive combs for Della's beautiful hair. She is sad. She smiled through her tears. She is impatient to give the gift she has for him.
      Della shows the chain and she wants to see the chain and watch together. Then Jim put his hands behind and says "let's put our gifts away". He sold the watch to get her combs.


They understood each other very much.They expressing their love without money.In the end gifts became unusable things.Their gifts come from the heart and they realize how much affection they have each other through sacrifice.

When this flowers make contact with water,their petals turn transparent.It happens because of a loose cell structure in the white flowers.Not because the colour of the flowers fades.When it rains,water fills in the cells of the petals and when it dry,turn back to being white.

The movie I loved the most in my childhood The Jungle Book is a American adventure film produced by Walt Disney Productions in 1967.The film based on Rudyard Kipling's book of "The Jungle Book".It was the last film that produced by Walt Disney.The story is about a feral child who raised in the Indian jungle by wolves.His name was Mowgli.The panther and the bear were his friends.So they tried to convince him to leave the jungle before arriving of the evil tiger.
